Parental Pride and Expectations
April 30th, 2007.Husband: Growing up, I don’t think I was ever proud of my Mother. I mean, even if she would have won a gold metal for something really important, I would have probably thought it was no big deal.
V: That’s because your Mom did everything right. If my Mom would have ever made it to work 5 consecutive days in a row, I would have been proud enough to burst.
