Violent Acres

I’m actually in the middle of a very busy week, but I still want to make a real quick post about some idiocy I came across before I forget about it.

So I’m walking through this apartment building with a real estate agent yesterday when I notice that the listing agent is a name I recognize.

I said to my agent, “Oh, this is Robbie W_____’s listing? I thought he was a flipper?”

“Oh, he is,” she replied, “But he’s been giving up on it since the market has cooled.”

I joked, “He should probably give up on it for good. He does such shoddy work.”

She laughed and replied, “Oh, I know! He nigger rigs everything he does!”

I blinked my eyes for a moment, surprised. For a second, I thought I hadn’t heard her correctly. But in the end, I had to face the facts that this agent had said the phrase ‘nigger rigged’ to me…

….her potential client…

…in a professional setting…

….after only knowing me for about 20 minutes or so.

Now we all know I’m not the type to get offended by any word, but I still had to wonder at the intelligence level of a person who uses racial slurs in a professional setting.

What a moron.
